Ingredients (for two)
- 2 T Pumpkin pure
- 2 T Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 T sugar
- 1/2 t Pumpkin pie spice, plus extra for sprinkling
- 2 c Milk
- Fresh whipped cream (optional)
Whisk the powder ingredients together. Scald the milk over med-high just will the milk bubbles and set aside keeping warm.
In another saucepan add the puree and cook over medium heat about 30 seconds whisking continuously. Add the powder mixture and continue to whisk. Add the milk continuing to cook over medium heat until hot and well mixed. Serve and top with cream and pumpkin spice.
This is so good at Thanksgiving and on a cold Autumn evening. Ill post picture the next time I make it.
