The Holidays are flying by this year! It has been a great year. I visited my wonderful Aunt in New York/ New Jersey, went to 8 states in 2 months, returned home to my love, got a new job and have met some great people. One of those great people is Deborah Apodaca.
My gift was wrapped in a pretty package matching the jewelry gift, such beautiful presentation for a beautiful piece.
Can anyone believe this is only her 4th wire wrapped pendant!? This is a Lepidolite with pink Tourmaline cabochon wrapped with sterling silver. I am so happy with my gift! It is on a pink ribbon cord to complete it. Deborah took the photos I am re-posting from her blog, I thought her photos of both pieces really caught their details. We had the same idea to use wire wrapping as our technique.
I made a ring for Deborah to wear on her index finger, it is adjustable though for what ever feels good. This is a small Serpentine cabochon wrapped in a vintage bronze to bring out the natural earth tones in the stone. Pleased with this piece but also still need a lot of practice.
I look forward to keeping in touch with Deborah, we are going to share jewelry tips and techniques. Thank you Deborah and everyone hosting this at Bead Soup Cafe! Happy holidays everyone!
